Work
Experience

June 2023 -

September

2023

Triada US Literary Agency

As an intern, I analyze and critique manuscripts, reporting both their writing successes and their editing needs to my supervisor.

April 2023 - Present

Newbury Comics

As a salesperson, I assist customers around the store in finding books, manga, graphic novels, vinyls, and various forms of pop culture collectibles.

January 2020 - April 2020

Ace Entertainment

As a development intern in the television department, I reviewed submissions for content, marketability, and company fit. I worked closely with my supervisor to pitch projects for consideration and independently suggested a future project that was approved for selection.

2016 - 2019

Generic: A Literary Magazine

As a copyeditor, I edited at a sentence level for grammar, spelling, and reader clarity while using the Chicago Manual of Style. The online versions of a selection of my work can be found on the "Projects" page.

2018 - 2019

Emerson's Undergraduate Students for Publishing

As an associate editor, I collaborated with a dynamic team to give broad editorial comments to authors on manuscripts. I also helped transition print manuscripts into e-books by coding (CSS) and proofreading. The online versions of the books published can be found on the "Projects" page.

2015 - 2016

Parallel Ink: A Literary Magazine

I worked as an editor for an online, international literary magazine run by teens, for teens. My work was noted as an exemplar in the "Editor's Manual" for my feedback on a fiction piece.
